Naturally sweet wine from white sundried grapes PDO Santorini

Grape variety Assyrtiko 70%, Aidani 25%, other white grapes 5%.
From the vineyards nearby Akrotiri. Well matured white grapes are laid under the sun for 7-15 days. Then destemmed and pressed. The sweet juice ferments slowly for more than 2 months in stain steel tanks at controlled temperature.
After the end of the fermentation the naturally sweet wine goes to oak barrels foe maturation for at least 5 years. Aging potential: Unlimited.

Tasting notes

Naturally sweet desert wine made from grapes left to dry naturally in the sun. Honeyed mouth, velvety with hints of fig, raisin, caramel and slight vanilla tones.

Long lasting aromas of dried fruits, honey, roasted nuts and bitter chocolate. Elegant and caramel aftertaste. Enjoy it at 8-10oC.
